Escapist Being Slow?

Has anyone else noticed that occasionally the forums seem to bog down and fail to update. Threads with new comments show in the general browser, but the new comments don't show up when you enter the thread. Occasionally, the forum starts to say that a particular category has no posts (Even though Gameplay has THOUSANDS.)

Just wondering if it was a network issue on my side or something server-side.

Update: I found out it was an issue with Google Chrome. (Firefox has no issues). Feel free to let this thread die.

This happens to me quite regularly in IE8. BIG delays, too. sometimes in excess of 15, 20 minutes.

Actually I am using firefox and what has been happening alot to me is I will go to the game discussion and get a message saying there is no threads.

Okay, so on further examination, I have seen that there is indeed a problem on all browsers. However, it only occurs when you are logged on. Escapist mods, can we get an explanation, or is it something that is unfixable?

It's probably just the servers getting a bit bogged down or something. It's been happening for me for quite a while and I just solder on regardless. It's not too much of a problem for me anyway.

Just mash F5 a lot, that's what I do.

I suffer slight slowdown on occasion, even with the analytical scripts disabled (though nothing nearly as bad as those holdups.)
