So, some very general questions for all you ex-pats on the website:
Where is your home country?
Where do you live now?
What was the reason for the move?
What do you like/dislike about your new country?
Which, of the two, do you call 'home' now?
For me, I'm British but I now live in Italy. I moved for my job (I teach English as a foreign language). I love my job, but there are lots of things about the country I don't like. However, probably only as many as I don't like about the UK
What I DO like is the food - I'll never be able to look at a supermarket frozen pizza again.
As for 'home', I tend to call both home now, much to the confusion of people I talk to when I indiscriminately use the word home to refer to two different countries. Honestly though, I think the UK is still my home, because I know that this is my last year in Italy.
