Escapist Friends =D

I don't want to play favorites, but my top 5 are the 2 that started talking to me outside of the site, after we met here, and one of the others I talk to often on the site. I don't have a 4th and 5th favorite out of my friends list, but I don't add anyone back unless I like them.

This is a weird thread to me. Because while I have been added by people, and I follow(lurk A LOT) the threads, its hard to call the people on here friends yet, I feel like I know all of you so well, but not the other way around. Partially because all of my posts are waaaay too long usually, and I don't post consistently enough, and don't post in the user groups, just ever thread takes my fancy.

I know all the big names on here, the people with the big post counts who are always pretty funny/agreeable, or the people who maybe dont post as often but are just so unique you can't help but remember them.

I kind of wish the Escapist was smaller sometimes, its hard for everyone's voice to shine sometimes when there are so many voices, and because we get new waves of posters every few months.

No, pretty sure he meant the non-existent page. 404 error is a great friend of mine, and a sign that I haven't been off /b/ for long enough yet...

Anyway, I don't have many friends here (I never seem to get round to adding people. No offence meant to anyone who feels I should have added them by now. I'm sorry!)
And of those I have, I only regularly talk to/with a couple of them. So, list incoming:
1) Tharwen. Probably because I know him in real life. Vaguely. And now know him a little better.
2)crimson5pheonix. Keeping NNIJA alive for no reason other than to amuse him. And that's awesome.
3)...Everyone else? I end up quoting/arguing with the same people lots of the time, but I never seem to actually add them as friends. Laziness on my part, I guess.

You do realise that if there's a three way tie then joint first goes to them. and then the next position would be fourth?

Yeah, I occasionally do too, but if there were fewer people, would it be the same escapist or would it be a small collection of people?
The great thing about there being so many Escapists is that there are so many unique people to find and talk to and discover things about.

I got about 10 friend requests and some PM's for one really [del]funny[/del] extreme post I made ages ago (and suspended for a week...) but nothing since then. Just lurking and ocassionally chipping in the rest of the time, like Sronpop here.
