Escapist Gamer Nights?

I have no idea if you have tried this in the past (you probably have) but has the community or even the staff here ever tried to organise an escapist gamer night? I know my join date was a while ago but I still consider myself fairly new here since I don't post in the forums anywhere near as much as I would like to and I think a gamer night would be a nice way to get to know each other or just have some fun. Maybe if it all works out we could try to make it a regular thing, who knows?!

Anyway, if anyone is interested then just let me know and we could try and get something organised etc.

UPDATE:
Thanks to the efforts of "The Lazy Blacksmith" a group of us are hoping to get together at 9pm EST (that is 2am for us UK fellows) in Battlefield 3 on the 360. You don't need to have any of the DLC, we will just plan accordingly based on what we all have anyone who wants to join is welcome, just message either myself or The Lazy Blacksmith and we will take it from there. Hope to see you in the game!

We used to be fairly active over on the Escapist TF2/Gmod/Killing Floor servers but that has died out and only the empty TF2 server remains.

I'd be up for a game of killing floor if there are a couple more people around. I've played it to death with 1 friend but i imagine it's a much better experience with a full party and a good mix of classes, rather than just duo'ing it with the odd randomer popping in here and there.

Yea the Escapist really needs a 'Group' forum. Would be very useful.

Any Aussies can hit me up on the steam's (username in profile) though, I play Counter-Strike regularly, but if I own it, chances are I'd be happy to play it. I also play Minecraft pretty regularly with some mates, just the fucking around kind of playing though (griefing, pranking, backstabbing hilarity), so people looking for a peaceful building game seek elsewhere haha.

But yea, throw me invites of game ideas and I'd be keen (preferably weeknights) for most things.
