So here's my question...

The Escapist has recently been insisting that they try to maintain a policy of hosting pg-13 equivalent content, as made evident by their insistence upon censoring profanity in some of it's series. Am I the only one who has a hard time buying that the depiction of milo taking part in an orgy wasn't exactly appropriate for a thirteen year old child? Perhaps only the kings of the Escapist (Graham, Paul, and Mr. Croshaw) are permitted such creative freedoms.

On topic though, great episode with many lolz to be had. Honestly in my opinion though, the attractive blonde in the Natal demos should have been arrested long before Milo. Her conversations with the lad had more than a hint of pedophilia in my opinion.

Why did Kathleen use lipstick from the blood of her vanquished enemies?
I'm not sure! I watched the video and went "yikes!" - it doesn't help that I'm almost as pale as Kratos anyhow. Everyone can be sure that particular shade of lipstick will not be coming back. Yetch.

Yeah, I'm thinking the orgy picture might be a bit off considering the general image The Escapist tries to present.

... that has been becoming more and more "trying to steal the title of the most horrible community away from GameFaqs", but still.

Even if the parody news weren't good it on its own (which it is), random one-line references like the SotN line would make ENN worth checking each week. Even picked one of the less memey lines from that scene... yeah, memey is totally a word.

Since when?

Yahtzee swears his head off...
Doomsday arcade contains heavy violence and serious swearing too (though that's just Australia. XD)

Moviebob - Swearing.
Apocalypse lane - sex references, violence, swearing.

...
And there's plenty more stuff in the video archives, or for that matter in the articles themselves...

The only thing I can imagine he's referring to is that obnoxious episode of Moviebob with all the bleeping.

Also that one bleep in the penultimate episode of TWBB. Considering the amount of violence in the episode after, however, I guess it wasn't permanent.

Oh god that line was tortured. Other than that poor line, "What a swell job you have done! That's just peachy!"

I've gotta say, nicely delivered feature story, Jer! Milo had it coming!

Also, even though I'm a fan of and quite enjoy my share of Final Fantasy games.. The Last Story. Really, Mr. Sakaguchi? First, you split from SE's downfall, start Mistwalker, both awesome moves.. But then Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey? Although I personally don't mind the sidestory deep in Lost Odyssey and how the dream sequences are written, still doesn't make me -want- to play it much.. Thesaurus looks like the new must-have game-naming device. Such an interesting concept.

As for Final Fantasy, they've re-released and re-re-released Final Fantasy 1&2 already. NES -> DS -> PSP.. Now the iPhone? That's just stupid. FF7 really is the only FF game that needs a proper remake. 8 and 9 were graphically better anyway and Crisis Core: FFVII on PSP is a perfect way to have an action-RPG. Maybe it was Zack that did it, but that game was much more fun with the music remixes and nicely pieced together prequel storyline.

VIII may have been summon-heavy, but it was a terrible, terrible game. The only thing I even care to like about it is the Ragnarok airship that COULDN'T GO BACK TO SPACE!? and maybe Esthar, which was an awesome futuristic city.

I mean, seriously.. FFVII could be a BRILLIANT game as a remake simply from the much more immersive story compared to its predecessors (arguably FFVI though, maybe?), but really, add the overall gameplay and rather entertaining cutscenes from how Crisis Core looked and it may be pretty damn awesome.

Either way, awesome ENN this week!
Just cause no one else brought you in for this, 4, 5 and 6 deserve and need a full 3D remake more than 7, mainly because the only thing they'd do is add voices and make it clearer, if they remade 4, 5 and 6 on the ps3, it'd probably be much cooler

Loved the Castlevania reference at the end. Good show as usual. Always a highlight of my week.

Nice Halo 5 reference! I almost spit my water. I should stop drinking water when I watch funny things.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about. Did you forget to mention that FFVII has had ZERO remakes, whereas FF4, 5 and 6 have ALL been remade 2-3 times!

Original SNES -> PSone (in America and Japan, they WERE FMV-style games!) -> DS, etc.

They've HAD remakes. VII has desperately needed one yet Crisis Core has certainly lessened the wait time, because it's quite fun.
