Regarding the whole accent thing for Kinect - I'm Scottish, Dundonian specifically, and my experience is that it depends from game to game.

Mass Effect 3, was quite good at picking up anything I said, whereas something like Kinect Sports is in the middle (most pick up, some don't) and Halo Anniversary is about half and half, which is probably the worst experience I've had with it.

The whole kickstarter thing. great idea, terrible execution. people dont use it to kickstart projects that dont get funded otherwise. they use it as a very early pre-order or as market gauging.

and i DID hated that Tim Shafner did it. he should have not be using kickstarter.

Worms: the granades are NOT affected by wind. the bazooka is. thats the big difference. bazooka can turn around and hit you around the bend, granades can be thrown above high obsticles without being blown away. i too noticed that some people are better at one and worse at the other. im the bazooka guy, and my friend is the granade guy, adn we play the hell out of eachother with this.

To answer your curiosity about localisation of voice controlled things; They don't. In my experience (being an Australian who has used a few voice controlled things) you have to learn how to speak in a way works with the tech or go without. Trying to speak like Microsoft mike helps for some reason.

Ninja Warrior > Wipeout by far. SANSUKE! Wipeout is just a sad sad version of MXC, made even worse because they allow contestants to start over just to fall on their ass again.
400+ days /played on EQ when I quit playing, shortly after Discord expac. Think about that, 1 main character, over a year staring at it. I wasn't an RPer but I did model the character to kinda look like me. So, big ears, moustache, goatie, lives in the woods - half elf Kelethin ranger naturally. I took pride in completing my compound darkwood bow, batskull earring, and trueshot charm.
