On the rare occasion that I find myself in a thread where the OP is talking about his/her complicated love life, I like to check the profile for an age...then roll my eyes when they turn out to be 13.

I do on occasion like if they posted something and I wanted to check the age/gender of the person and see if I was right. It's stupid, but I'm just naturally curious.

I almost never look at someone's profile. The only reason I ever really do is to check someone's age if them reference something related to it in their post.

Honestly, I'd kinda like one's sex being displayed along with avatars/usernames. Not necessarily pasted for everyone to see, but perhaps in the drop down one recieves when clicking their username?

Yep I kinda do that. And they I check country to see how far away they are from me.
Then I look at the bio and others stuff they wrote and try to determine what kind of personality they might have(I know I always guess wrong, but it's fun what people write on their profiles).

I usually don't unless it says "This user has been (banned/suspended/etc.)"....

Maybe to check gender, age or nationality.

I look at them every so often, usually if I'm trying to figure out what context to attach to one of their posts. I don't rabidly stalk every member on here xD

Not really. Only someone who has what looks like a troll post (to check previous posts) or if I get a friend request. Or if someone is REALLY stupid/smart. Overall, don't usually care to much.
