Escapist 'snowy themed' background

As I'm typing this, the background has jumped up and down several times, its very glitchy, and I wish we could select the themes we have so I could turn it off.

Is it bothering anyone else? Even if it's for any other reason?

It works perfectly fine for me, and in my opinion it's a hundred times better than that stark white which had been giving me eye cancer for the past two weeks.

What browser are you using?

Works for me as well except it has started to "lag" when I scroll.

But it still better then the annoying white background

Which broswers are you using? It's fine to me on Firefox.

It's fie for Chrome.

It works fine for me. It's also very nice, much better than the plain white.

Given that I'm seeing the same thing as the OP, I'm guessing the problem browser is IE.

Could be, IE has issues with HTML 5.0 (or is the least compatible when compared to Chrome or FireFox).

I'd love to use either Chrome or FireFox, but unfortunately they chew up too much memory when they have all the features I use with IE, particularly the search engines, I want to be able to search with multiple engines, and IE does it flawlessly, Firefox 'can' do it, but won't let me install all of the browsers I want, and I am uncertain of Chrome.

The problem is nearly always IE. It's still not quite there yet.

And I miss the Christmas background, even though it caused the site to lag really bad (firefox)...the white background just really doesn't do it. Hopefully they'll bring out some custom themes that they promised soonish.
