Escapist username won't change.

I'm trying to change my username, but it doesn't seem to be working. I'll go to update account information, put in my current username, and it says 'account updated' without letting me change anything.
If I put in the username I want to use in the update account page, it gives me an error saying that my current username is needed, if I put in my username, it says 'account updated' still without changing anything.
What am I doing wrong here?

I would say that you may have been disabled due to mods, but there's not a single warning on your account.

I would say that it's because you changed your username before, but you just said you didn't.

Two other reasons I can think of:

1. The system's slow. Wait maybe an hour or two before moving on to option 2

2. Contact the tech monkeys at the Tech Team.
