Escapist Website buggy

I don't know about any of you guys, but for me the Escapist website is incredibly buggy across my laptop and phone. The site regularly crashes, fails to load, and whenever I try and change my avatar I get a broken image. I love the site, but I am beginning to get annoyed. Is it something I am doing or is it just a broken website?

I use Google Chrome BTW.

That's weird. I have tried the Escapist at internet cafes and it still bugs out, so it can't be my internet/computer.

Really weird.

EDIT: And another thing: My badges aren't displaying properly. On my profile I have 4 different ones to the 4 showing on the forums.

They're still working out some issues with the new layout. Just wait a week or two, the problems will disappear before you know it.

I actually used to quite often be unable to access Escapist. From multiple computers and internet connections, and I would always be able to access any other site. Plus sites like "down for everyone?" would tell me it was still up. It was weird. But that doesn't seem to happen anymore. I would advise you send [a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/groups/view/Tech-Team]these helpful chaps[/a] a message with all the information you can think of.

I get issues from time to time, but its either my connection, or jsut the site. I guess theyre working on it, and just said to be patient for now.

Here and there, the Escapist throws up and has to clean up after itself. Also, the captchas are frigging screwed up now.

I'm having the same problem with uploading avatars. Also the MLP:FiM group chat is *really* buggy and constantly disappearing/going back in time.

Same... in both cases... first it was EPL, now it's NFL... or w/e... they're not even subtle about it either, must've seen at least a dozen and a half across the three main forums I frequent...

Maybe it's because we've got a massive amount of members and about 10 regulars to the chat? I don't have any other big groups to compare to but I reckon that may be the reason.

OT:Well first whenever you change your avatar for about half an hour afterwards it's broken because the escapist has to update every single post and every single sighting of your avatar to the new one, which takes a while. Secondly I've not been having any problems at all except for the occasional "no data found" thing which can easily be fixed, not a problem just a small nuisance.
