Got a license about 4 years ago. The 3 year point is the best if you ask me, car insurance is cheaper, you can rent a car, you can drive abroad...

Kind of jealous of Americans tho, their driving test (from what I hear) is basically drive up and down a street. With an automatic car. It sounds like a very uneventful go on the dodgems.

I earned the ability to drive years ago when I was of age. I ride the public bus now, though, lol! My first and so far only car is my dad's old 2002 Toyota Prius. we named it GIR, like from Invader Zim.

I don't remember when I passed (which is sad, it can't have been more than three years ago.). My first car cost me THOUSANDS of dollars in repairs, so I gave up and bought a Corolla for the cost of a new transmission. Don't EVER buy a car that was stolen by meth-addicts. They don't know how to drive, they treat it like shit, and when the police found it it was arrested for prostitution.

Then again, maybe Fafnir just didn't like me. My Corolla's awesome though.

I just failed my hazard perception test by three points which sucks, so I have to reorganize my theory test again.
Hopefully at the end of it all I'll be rewarded with a Subaru Impreza.

I sometimes teach some of my friends that don't have a license yet, how to drive..
And the clutches on my car are paying for it..

I've got/had 2 Honda Prelude, 1 Nissan Primera, 1 Opel Senator..

got mine 5 years ago. Drove a stick since the only vehicles we had at the time were manual anyway. Currently driving my dad's old 96 200SX which I'll be working on fixing/modifying when I can afford to.

I got my license back in 2003. Since I was over the age of 16 I went straight to having a full license (in my state you received a restricted license if you are under 16). It's a lot of fun, I remember my first car was a 1993 Mazda Protege with 5spd manual transmission.

Just remember two important rule: always yield to something bigger than you and wait at least one second before driving through an intersection that just changed to green.

It's incredibly easy. You don't even need to learn how to parallel park, and having an automatic makes it like eating cake. Well at at least where I live you don't have to parallel park, not sure about everywhere else. I've done all my training on a stick though, because 1. That's the real way to drive; and 2. I find it much more enjoyable.

Have a 350 Z Roadster 6 speed Manual. It's my baby.
