Or, 'Dark Corners of The Ear' according to my 360.

I just bought it today; Currently attempting the part where
Fishmen attack you in the hotel

It's pretty good so far, coming from a horror fan, anyone else here played it? Thoughts?

I played it and loved it. It really makes you fear death and with the limited supply of ammo you can't just shhot away all of your problems. I also liked the healing system. It is a lot more realistic than most games and it works well like that. Too bad they cancelled the sequel.

I thought it was a pretty good game. I especially liked finally understanding what a lot of the creatures actually looked like.

I had to hunt this one down on eBay (Okay, not that hard but hell, it's work). I bought it, played it, beat it and enjoyed it to a point. It's nigh impossible for me to be scared of something that doesn't pose an immediate threat to my actual life or place me in deep, dark water with something I cant see (The ship level doesn't count). And in response to Mr. Jester Lord, you actually can shoot away all your (Base) problems; one good shotgun blast to the face will demolish just about everything in the game and what can't be is normally a boss. If you want my opinion, play it for the story because that's the real star here.

Then I just really suck at finding ammo.

I love, love this game. The character can go insanely suicidal during gameplay, how fucking cool is that!?

It`s very well done.
I played only about half because the atmosphere in the game was wayyy to creepy for me.

The ancient prophecy.

"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wagn'nagl fhtagn."
I actually have a note on the door to my room telling people not to say that.

Back on topic: That game is what started my fascination with H.P. Lovecraft.

You ever wanna be freaked out - RP chtullu.

We had this GM who made props and everything, half burned diaries, newspapers. Oh man that rocked.

I miss the old days.
