Well, surprisingly I haven't seen a thread on this forum with predictions to who will win Euro 2012 so I thought I might as well start one. The reason I didn't make it when the groups started was because that's not the really exciting part but when it gets to the knock-out stages. So if you want to give me your predictions go ahead.

Here's mine:

Semi-finals: Germany vs Italy and Spain vs England

Final: Germany vs Spain

Winner: Germany- Mario Gomez and Podolski ftw

There's a good chance that England will play Spain in the quarter finals.

England to win it. Do it for Bobby!

I'm pulling for France to make it through. They have what it takes. They just need confidence in their midfield. Ribery has been on fire for about a month now for France.

I'm not sure England will make the semi's.

After watching the last 2 matches, and even though we did manage to (somehow) beat Sweden they played utter .. complete .. shit.

So i'm going to back Spain mainly because some of them play(ed) for Liverpool.

I can't cheer for France, it's just not the same without Zidane.

And I can't cheer for Ukraine because, for unknown reasons, Shevchenko gets right on my manly tits.

The Czechs. If someone is going to beat the Poles, they better win it all. Or Ukraine.

You clearly haven't been paying much attention.
Either Portugal or Chech Republic has to be in the semi finals.

If Germany played against Denmark and Netherlands the way it played against Portugal I don't think they will win this Euro.
Also England didn't play very well against Sweden.

Can't talk about the rest since I haven't watched their games.
Czech Republic has really been to unpredictable to comment on considering their 4-1 defeat with Russia

I'm thinking a Spain v Germany final, but then again I don't know much about football so take what I say with a grain of salt[footnote]And by that I mean don't listen to me[/footnote]

It will be Ze Germans who win it, I think.

Not sure who they'll face in the final though.

Well it's undoubtably going to be Portugal v Germany taking the semi spots for groups A and B, i don't see either of group A's contenders facing up to Germany or Portugal, and each of those teams is perfectly capable of beating the other, so it could go either way.

As for groups C and D, Italy are probably going to get a free win against Ireland (sorry guys), and if they beat them by more than two and Croatia v Spain forces a draw or Croatia lose, it's going to be Italy and Spain going through. England are perfectly capable (theoretically....) of beating Ukraine and i could see France v Sweden ending in a draw, so it's possible for England to win the group and face Croatia or Italy (who are playing badly), both are beatable, so... maybe England in the semi's.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's Spain v Italy in the semi's though, both are world class teams and i don't see anyone from D taking them on if they're on top form.

So for me, SF's: Germany v Portugal and Spain v Italy, with a Spain v Portugal final. Possible Spain v Germany final, but i reckon Portugal can take them, Germany has been looking shaky, Portugal have been getting better and better.

At any rate, you never know with football, Croatia could surprise us, so could England (lord knows we have the players for it, just seems not the team, as usual :(), so could France. And Italy on their top form play some fantastic football. So i wouldn't be surprised to see one of these teams in the semi's or even the finals (though Spain are going to be a tough nut to crack for anyone).

I replied before I could even see it. Somehow.

I for one welcome our new fox overlord (I think its a fox)

OT: Hungary, if we were good enough to be in it we would be beating everyone.

I went with Spain at the beginning of the tournament and I'm sticking with that answer, my second guess being Germany, whom I would expect will reach the final with relative ease though I just have a feeling they're going to choke on the big day (and in spite of winning all their group games it's not like they've been playing all that well >.>). Barring something miraculous, England will most likely end up playing Spain in the quarters and consequently will be crashing out at that stage. =/
