So simple enough. Eurovision time is coming around and I know alot of countries don't take it seriously (we sent a turkey last time) because of the money cost to set up the even the next year. So if you could choose one song, to represent your country what would it be?, also the artist that would sing it if you like.

Id have Pierce Brosnan sing this

I would like this, with Gordon Brown and Boris Johnson singing it.

i have no idea, out of the runners up for this year, they all sucked.
it's a shame, since the singer isn't a bad one (for once), but the song leans towards bad (as opposed to the previous 5 years when they were just mediocre)

As long as I get to watch a couple of hours of hot European girls singing and dancing I don't mind who does what. Plus some rather attractive ladies with gorgeous accents sometimes announce the scores for their respective countries, so an all round worthwhile show.

What? You think I watch it for its musical merit? Haha. Finland put out songs I enjoyed 3 years in a row, then went back to cheesy euro pop after they realised the Hard Rock approach wasn't going to work again.

Edit: Plus you get to see stuff such as this.

HA! I love that song, it's so deliciously ridiculous.

Obviously, I'd have that adorable Portal Choir [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6m5TuxdkfkE] sing the most ultimate patriot song in the world! [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWS-FoXbjVI]

America....FUCK YEAH!

Lordi (Remember them?) singing Smooth Criminal would be pretty epic.
Or a total fuck up.

...Yeah, fuck up.

Damn I loved seeing that, and I remember terry wogan being hilariously cruel to the winner of that year. I honestly think we should get Bill Bailey on there, just for the sheer awesome which would be unleashed. We would quite literally detonate europes collective mind :)
