The question of euthanasia, I find, is less of a "yes or no" question, but more of a "when" question. It's a matter of just how sanctified life is and what the circumstances present. Euthanasia shouldn't be a discussion "in theory" like this, it needs to be decided case by case.

That said, I haven't really given my opinion. In general terms, I'm against euthanasia, but there are times when it is necessary. Which goes back to my earlier point, when is it necessary? To be honest, I don't know.

I think euthanasia should be legalised. I may be desensitised to this sublect given that I perform euthanasia fairly often, but I think that being able to humanely end suffering is a good thing.

I don't think it would work at the moment as it is far too open to abuse, but with the correct legislation in place I think it could work.

Let's not forget that doctors have been doing it for years at the reqeust of families of people that are brain dead and on life support, they've just managed to get away with it.
