Player owned stations outfitted with reactors are required to bui;d Tech level 2 parts. People discovered that they could put the raw materials in and take them out and the reactor would still put out the finished product. This made T2 prices drop like Rocks in the ocean.Dommyboy said:Could you point out what it is exactly? I am quite intrigued now.

I cant understand or accept that, but being somone who does not play MMOG, i suppose i never will.smallharmlesskitten said:TOS and EULA. Exploits = BannageTrevorOfCrete said:Why should people get punished for exploiting a failure by the makers of the game?
So you are thinking that....Agreeing not to do something "illegal" under the games laws but doing it anyway isn't bad?TrevorOfCrete said:I cant understand or accept that, but being somone who does not play MMOG, i suppose i never will.smallharmlesskitten said:TOS and EULA. That game has quite the community. Well I hope the game economy gets fixed up soon.smallharmlesskitten said:Player owned stations outfitted with reactors are required to bui;d Tech level 2 parts. CCP found out one guy was doing it so to save his ass he ratted out as many people as possible. Of course CCP banned him too.
So now T2 prices will rise and CCP will try to compensate by forcing price drops on them. Fucking up the market. The market was actually quite stable with this exploit and now it is fucked up
Like a real economy (Face it, It is. All player Run unless something like this happens) It will balance out eventually. All I know is my T2 cargo Expanders are gonna shoot through the roof. Fuck.Dommyboy said:That game has quite the community. Theres a difference between exploitation and outright cheating. If there was a bug that littered the galaxy with high grade ships on sale for free would you ban anyone who bought one? In my view theres a massive difference to a unfair advantage purposly created by a player, and an unfair advantage that comes as a result of a bug. Both should be ironed out - yes, but banning people for the latter is not exactly justice in my opinion.smallharmlesskitten said:So you are thinking that....Agreeing not to do something "illegal" under the games laws but doing it anyway isn't bad?TrevorOfCrete said:I cant understand or accept that, but being somone who does not play MMOG, i suppose i never will.smallharmlesskitten said:TOS and EULA. That's basically like Hacking Counter Strike.

It is effectivley cheating. They were making so much money off it, messing up what the economy used to be.TrevorOfCrete said:Theres a difference between exploitation and outright cheating. probably a falsehood there. CCP would have caught on way before that happens.Helnurath said:I heard they had 4 titans between them all, and individual players could afford them.
Probably just a rumor, but I from what I understand they had well into the trillions of ISK.smallharmlesskitten said:probably a falsehood there. CCP would have caught on way before that happens.Helnurath said:I heard they had 4 titans between them all, and individual players could afford them.
