It's CCP so the best we will get is "soon?", they are the only company that can give Valve a run for their money (in terms of waiting for games and unexpected projects popping up) and apart from a few videos nothing was confirmed at the last Fan Fest. They have a lot on at the moment as well, reworking Dust into a PC shooter, Valkyrie and EVE.

Last time having that many projects didn't work out too well, I expect them to be a little more cautious this time.

Hi all,

Any idea when Eve Valkyrie be released for PC and PS4?
I hope you don't mind but I've made a different version of your avatar. You don't have to use it, my feelings won't be hurt :)

I've got to work on being able to clean up the halo though. Something akin to anti-aliasing.

Pretty much this. Most people don't realize the amount of work a single game requires, and right now the company is basically maintaining one while building two what with making Valkyrie and turning Dust into Project Legion.

I'd simply wait and play other games in the meantime, its release won't slip you buy.

I'm also really skeptical about the whole integration thing, there's no way things like Valkyrie effecting the outcome of dogfights or Dust/Project Legion being used for boarding action like we saw in the fan fest trailer is going to happen, the servers just can't handle it, especially when something that that would have forced time dilation in place on Eve's side, which is the centre around which the other two revolve.

Yeah everything, including that "Prophecy" video at Fan Fest reeks of typical CCP over ambition. They never even managed to make more than a damn room for people to walk around in together let alone stitch three games together, the interaction with Dust and orbital strikes was very limited and even if they do link all three games it probably won't go any further than that.

Mass limited deadspace pockets with station timers or gate hacking/shields something similar so the fight is effectively "pre planned", have a small group of ships and players fight over small starbases inside the pocket. No way in hell will we see player flown fighters in fleet battles and ad-hoc boarding of nullsec player owned stations.

Sometimes CCP are like a whole group of Icelandic Peter Molyneux's.

I guess that's what happens when you're basically 80% of the Icelandic economy :p

Shots fired! Seriously though I do love them for reaching for the stars even if they fall short a lot of the time and at least they actually try unlike a lot of MMOs, I just take whatever they claim with several pinches of salt until we get to see it is all.
