If you mean have I experianced Chemical reactions in my brain to trick myself into a feeling of Compatablitiy with someone only because of the strong need to Reproduce then Yes, I have.
He's asking about love, not rationalized lust. You basically just accused every asexual person in the world of being halfway to psychopathy.
Ah Yes, But that would follow in the realm of Your views on Life, When you really ask the question, Love is a Chemical reaction in your brain to trick yourself into a feeling of compatablity to reproduce and protect your investments (Children) untill they do the same. Life Continues Ect Ect...
Your point being? Just because you understand how something works doesn't make it any less special or real, you should try lightening up once in a while. A little more on-topic, I believe I am currently in love, never felt this strong about one person before, and it sucks just being away from her. But I'm just a teenager, so what the fuck do I know huh?

You'd better believe it. I've even been in the kind of hate that is born out of love. It's a wonderfully fickle emotion.
Yeah, the hatred is a fun addendum. Sort of like being a very specific sociopath towards one person and one person only. And then there's the schadenfreude, which is it's own kind of reward. It'd be more fun to express it, I suspect, but still.

Yup, that string of hatred is still alive and well folks. I do love my GF though.

Two problems.

1. I realize you probably don't believe in the existence of platonic love. Again, I point to asexuals.

2. "Trick?"

I've loved many females and have been in love with a few. The most love I've ever felt for a woman was the mother of my first son whom, even after what she did to me (taking my son away never to be seen again) I still very much love today, two serious lovey-dovey relationships later.

I was once back in college, but she had a boyfriend.

I am really happy it did not work out. I am at a different college now and I cannot be distracted by such a silly emotion.

Yes I have, it was a strong sensation and it was the first time I knew that I really was in love.
Fortunatley with medication I was able to suppress those unwanted emotions.

What do you mean Asexuals? Like people? Humans can't reproduce Asexually, It's physically impossible, Plus Asexualism isn't love and thats just plain and simple, Most emotions you experiance are there to keep you alive or to help you reproduce. By "Trick" I ment Chemicals Interfering with your logic Processing. Sometimes Love is Stronger then the Mind.

Well, have you ever been in Love? Yes? No?

I, for one, have never been in love, but I'm still young.
I always thought I was, but realized I was just a hopeless romantic.

Oh alright, just seemed like you were one of those cynical types that views such things as love as just being chemicals in their brains tricking them, rather than as something good they should try to enjoy. Disregard what I said then.

Twice, I believe, and neither time worked out too well. Still, it's one of those things that means a lot to me, and I'll never stop looking.
