I was just wondering, has anyone 'befriended' anyone on Xbox Live or Playstation Network (that's such a mouthful...)? I wouldn't expect anyone to be 'liek BBFS!' with them or anything, just people that you talk and play with quite a lot.

Sadly, I haven't gotten around to replacing my flimsy first mic, and it's in a state of brokeness, although I have messaged a few people back and forth.

So - have you? Have you really?

I've added some friends on there since playing Call of Duty. But not really befriended them as such.

I add quite a few people I have good games of Street Fighter with. But that's more to help me stop playing awful people all the time.
I added quite a few people from Gears 1 that I played with alot, I used to talk and play with them quite a lot but then Gears of War 2 came out and I haven't played with them since.

Oh very much.
I've also reconnected with old friends through the popular medium of XBL.

I have numerous conversations with many of my friends and often delete those who I wouldn't befriend in any other context.

No. I don't have many friends on XBL as it is. I only talk with my brothers. I'm sure I could be friends with someone through XBL.

Yep, this one guy in particular springs to mind. Funnily enough it started when I joined a CoD:WaW free for all game and kicked his ass along with everyone else in the game. He asked me if I fancied starting a clan and I ended up playing online with him for quite some time.

No infact I've given up trying.
I have about 70 friends on x-box live none of which are ever on. One of these days I'll just go and delete my entire friends list and never touch it again.

Actually there was one guy I was friends with who was on most days so we played together a lot but after a couple of months he just sorta stopped coming on.

Not really, I have friends who have done so and when I play with them I usually end up in the same game as those people.

I used to accept people if I played them a few times but if we were on at the same time on a fairly regular basis and they never invited me to play I just deleted them because I didn't see the point having them on there.

I've played together with some online friends. I even spend a hour one night exchanging Ghostbuster quotes with this one guy. But I haven't been one PSN for months.

I have people I play Halo 3 with on a semi-regular basis, and a couple of pretty good friends.

I did, but when my Gold membership ended, I stopped playing online. So I don't really talk to them much anymore.

I occasionally go on to Left 4 Dead versus and find a few cool people, we play, have a laugh, then never see each other again usually. It's cool, I remember them fondly and don't get to know them enough so I might dislike them. I have real friends for that.

I started talking with a girl from Canada (I live in England) on Burnout Paradise, and we're pretty good friends. I've never actually MET a person I've befriended on XboxLive unless I knew them already (from school or similar) but that's probably because I don't usually add random people as friends.

I have one of those friends, who I met on Killzone 2 and who I message with from time to time, mostly to share our opinions on the demos we play. And it was with him that I played through RE5, so you might say that were not total strangers.
Other than that, I haven't really "befriended" anyone else who I didn't already know in real life.

Well, I do have an XBL BFF that I game with almost every day, and we also sometimes talk about videogames and other stuff, is that what you mean? But I've never made any real life friends through XBL, nor is anyone I know in real life also on Xbox LIVE, unfortunately.
