My older brother did in his blue but I almost got all of 'em in my red version.

I DID however complete my silver cartridge which is still my favourite.

i see collecting all the pokemon like i see getting an achievement in WoW. You can spend hours of time getting it but at the end your still an idiot.

yeah, i got them all in the very first one. i had blue and my sister had red so she helped me was probably the most under rated achievement I've ever done tho. i don't know what i was expecting... but it was more than what actually happened!

I think I got all of them in Yellow which is, to my knowledge, the only game in which you can actually catch them all legitimately.

Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Ruby, Fire Red and Diamond (including the event ones). I knew a guy who made trips around the world (often picking up the events ones, and more often than not taking his games with him to trade with people in other countries. He also had a habit of picking up illegal carts there and hacking all the pokemon, so, either way, I won).

I completed Pokemon Yellow when I was 7. Even caught 6 Mews, from a special event at Toys R Us.

I have always wondered what happens when you talk to the gamefreak staff guy. There is a guy in the majority of the pokemon games who tells you to talk to him again when your pokedex is complete. I want to know what happens with him.

Not much, just a certificate saying that you caught them all blah blah blah.

Ive completed my National Dex in Diamond, except no. 493. I don't have all the pokemon my friend traded the ones like Mew, Jirachi ect then I traded them back, but the ones I got from him were cheated ones he got off a friend. But I do have a lagit Darkrai and Shaman.

Me and my bro set up a 2-player emulator so we could play Pokemon Red and Blue on the same computer at the sametime. One straight week later we had full Pokedexs with all the Pokemon captured. But as a result of a lack of breaks I got a very bad headache near the end (but still kept playing). Long story short my head feels really odd every time I think of the colourful pixel filled nightmare.

Like hell I'm going through all the trouble of trading, training, and all that crap. I'll stick with making my 'unbeatable' team to enter in tournaments and whatnot. Er...wait, I can't. I got banned. @.@; Damn me and making my Umbreon too good. >.>

No I have not, but just the other day I discovered two game boys (one of which is one I borrowed from a friend and never returned) with a trading cable. What does this mean? I WILL catch them all - I just lack the dedication at the moment.

On Blue I got 149...all I needed was Ominite, if only the guy I traded with for Omistar didnt evolve it....jerk
