And i remember once when i was really young i couldn't figure out how to get out of the train for Half Life. It was the first shooter i ever tried and i sucked.

Rofl halo 2 i beat the 1st one on legendary and assumed id be able to pwn Halo2 on the same was pretty epic fail really and not just because i had to play by myself instead of co-op

This guy just kept dragging me out of a car, tying me up and shooting me. Couldn't beat it. Returned the game I was so mad. Must've missed a quick time event or something.

I confess to getting a bit stuck on assasins creed 2 in the beginning where you are supposed to follow your brother. He'd always dash off before I got a chance to see him and it took me a while to realize I had to go UP the building. (I kept taking the route marked with the white cloth to the left)

Deus Ex's first level. Not the tutorial. The one where you meet Paul and are trying to rescue Gunther. I'm terrible at stealth, and the amount needed - plus the limited ammo - meant I died several times over.

I couldn't complete the deku tree (ocarina of time) without help... I just couldn't figure out how to set fire to a web on the floor........

Star Ocean: A New Hope. The gameplay is unintuitive (yes, I did the many tutorials), so I haven't even gotten as far as the cave. I was constantly running back to the ship to heal because I don't have a healer yet, so I've given up.

Edit: And I do own the game guide for this title, but it didn't help my situation.

I sort of expected this thread to be about dying on the first level...'cause I've done that in Super Mario Bros. more times than I'd care to admit. I've never been stuck like that, though.
