Ever feel like the universe is just fucking with you?

I've never felt that way, to be honest. However, I knew a guy who said something that for some reason resonated with me. This man cannot get water on the bottoms of his feet or on his palms without the skin disentigrating and bleeding. This is due to a genetic disorder which has no treatment. It's a rather horrifying sight. One day, after coming out of the pool, he was in intense pain, and he said to me: "Cosmic lottery screwed me over. Fuck me."

That kind of jarred me for some reason.

If he has this condition, why does he go swimming? *curious*

A few months ago I was dumped twice in the same week (by the same girl), I did terribly in my tests, my friend wasn't available due to the fact he was with his girlfriend all weekend, my PC died, and I sucked at CoD.

My running total for shittyness this week is as follows:
1) No Thanksgiving, spent the whole holiday at work. Didn't even see or speak to my family.
2) Brake problems with vehicle
3) No money to pay bills because all is scurrently being spent to fix brake problems with said vehicle.
4) Fight with girlfriend because she would've rather me walked the 6 or 7 miles to work in zero degree weather than give me a ride.
5) Sleeping on couch for a couple days.
6) No time to finish my giant homework projects because work and car problems have superseded education at the moment.

I'm sure there's more, but it's probably petty.

OT: All within three weeks, I almost got my foot amputated, learned I wouldn't be able to walk for about five months, got surgery, my apartment flooded the next day after surgery, had to pack my apartment and moved (unrelated to flood, it had been planned for months), got an abscessed tooth, found out my hospital no longer takes my insurance. Also, no walking=no job=no more savings=no money.

I truly feel that when it rains, it pours.
