I'm sure we've all had that certain movie/show/game that got our soft spot... anyone feel like sharing?

"Elfen Lied" was my inspiration to make this thread. Saddest damn thing I've ever seen. The last time I cried that hard was at the end of the movie "Finding Neverland". "Marley and Me" gave me sobs, but that's like comparing a pellet gun to "Elfen Lied"'s emotional grenade... at least to me.

Anyone else have any tearfests? Any other guys, especially, who are secure enough in their masculinity to share?

The beginning of Up. I may or may not have bawled like a baby...

This song doesn't make me tear up or anything, but it definitely hits a soft spot.

Try watching Lars Von Trier's "Dancer In The Dark" without crying. That's the most intense weepy-fest I've ever seen. "Lilya 4 Ever" also comes close.

<url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.231661-2-50-Reviews-Snow-Angels-2007>Snow Angels is the film that completely broke me down. I now get watery eyes just thinking about that movie.

The Walking Dead pilot. Watching Rick on the floor when he gets to his house. Damn.
Also, the penultimate issue of Y: The Last Man. You know what I'm talking about. I think I owe Vaughan a soul-punch for that.

the second act of Rent, from the reprise of "I'll Cover You" until "Goodbye Love"

I cannot watch that without tearing up a little.

Episode of Scrubs when you found out at the end that Dr Cox and J.D were going to Ben's funeral and not Jake's birthday party.
or...
At the end of Life Aquatic were Billy Murray's character say's "I wonder if he still remembers me?" while he watches the jaguar shake swim away referencing the relationship he had with his friend or with his 'thought to be' son.
