Ever gotten emotionally attached to a video game character?

Most of the time I get emotionally attached to the characters I'm playing, so when something bad happens to my character I'm damn near tears.

Ezio Auditore- I just love that guy.
The horse from Shadow of the Colossus- I don't remember his name, but that horse was awesome.
Sazh from FFXIII- I flipped out when shit got real at the amusement part.
Alyx Vance and Dog- They're just plain awesome

Those are just a few that I was really attached to since I get attached to characters real easily, sometimes even the really douchy ones.

Red Dead Redemption: John Marston - Dead Giveaway

MGS4: Old Snake - Was on the edge of my seat the entire time when he put the gun in his mouth at the end of the game.

Heavy Rain: EVERY CHARACTER - I looked forward to playing that game everyday. It was compelling like a rich novel... needless to say, I no-lifed it to the end.

Jack from ME2. Under all that psychosis there was a vulnerability that made me want to protect her.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Yes, Jack is angry and psychotic and she swears like an army full of sailors but at the same time I just can't force myself to get mad at her after I've seen her romance scene.
I just can't be angry at this face:

Instead it just brings up the natural instinct which is to give her a big hug. If Ashley wasn't already my number one, Jack would be my favorite romance in Mass Effect.
