I'm gobsmacked to see the the conspicuous lack of Suzumiya Haruhi

I dunno. She always smacked of scary mary sue to me. (I'm sure that was the point though.) I would find it difficult to understand why any boy would have a crush on her (in spite of all the short relationships she had prior to the series' beginning.)

I'm just a guy who likes passionate girls. It's nice to be inspired by someone's energy.

Well personally I prefer people who are fleshy and real, however I know a guy who has a real weird thing for the Undead in World of Warcraft, that's surely not right.

When I was little I had a crush on Flea from Chrono Trigger. I always thought that there must have been a typo in the dialogue because my mind could not conceive that a guy could look that pretty.

Don't feel too bad. I can jabber on about my characters for hours, and when I do in-depth work on individuals, I tend to feel totally in love with them for a while (how long depends, sometimes it's a very long time).

Just saying, you're not alone.

OT: I've had more crushes on fictional people than real ones. I get really into fiction, so when I'm observing a well-developed world with balanced and intriguing characters, I tend to feel very strongly about them.

I never lose my grip on reality though, so most of them aren't too ridiculous. Most of them.
