OT: Characters I genuinely hate... Hope(FF13)... that little punk at the docks in front of castle Clinton(Deus Ex) Miranda(Mass Effect2)... that's it...<.<
I killed the kid in Deus Ex and I got Miranda killed deliberately at the end of Mass Effect but I couldn't do anything about Hope...<.<
Most of the characters I genuinely despised with a passion were the ones I was in the least opportunity to do anything to. There was a character in Tales of Symphonia, though...I'm glad Raine's AI was on-the-ball, because <color=aliceblue>Remiel pissed me off so badly that I basically went berserk fighting him.
Also, there's a certain group in <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.237875-Neutral-Drow-reviews-Crescendo>Crescendo that ignited every fiber of my being with divine hate. Considering what I was writing in my game notes during the scene they...appear, "divine hate" is the best way I can think to describe it.

Make them scream. And when they've almost screamed themselves out, stab their vocal cords. Laugh at their breathy cries. Throw them against a wall, pile them in a corner, douse them in lighter fluid. Make sure their eyes are open as you torch them."
The fact that the game wound up giving me nothing in the way of getting revenge on <color=aliceblue>my girlfriend's rapists disappointed and...well, sickened me. I generally try to forget it.
I'd throw in Kyoka and Gaito from <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.135672-Neutral-Drow-reviews-A-Drug-That-Makes-You-Dream>A Drug That Makes You Dream, but with them, I don't blame the writers at all.
...also, part of the reason I hated them was that they terrified me. They scared me with what they represented, what they could do to me, and most importantly, what they could do to Aeka. In fact, it's what they do do to us that turned that into sheer hate.
They should've just made Balthier the Main Character. Would've made the game so much fucking more tolerable/better depending on whether you hated it or liked it.

She single handedly ruined that game for me. I didn't even get to appreciate the other game's failing thats how much I hated her. Best I could do was just never ever let her into my party. ever.
I gotta say some of the characters you work for in GTA IV pissed me right the hell off.
Especially Playboy X and that guy who has you kill his boss near the beginning. (I forgot his name, maybe it was Dmitri or something, I don't care enough to look it up)
"What? You don't want me to work for you anymore? Why the Fuck not? Because I killed that guy that you told me to kill and that makes you not trust me? Fuck off!"
From Final Fantasy VIII: Both Selphie and Zell. The rest of the cast was also annoying, but not to the same extent... and I didn't actively work to fuck them over (if I remember correctly, they were both under level 10 at the last boss fight). I still can't believe I actually bothered finishing that game...
Come to think of it, that was the last Final Fantasy title I did bother finishing... though I got close on both IX and X... after that I gave up on the franchise completely.
Makes sense. They weren't enemies, but still pretty important to kill.
But as for me, I don't really hate anybody either. But one time in "Halo 3", I don't remember where, I got a warthog stuck with both it's back and front wheels unable to touch anything. the front half was fine, but the back was hanging over a bottomless cliff; so I told the gunner to jump out. And boy did he oblige.
I don't see why reaver get's so much hate, he's one of my favorite characters, but if I do hate one thing, it's rapper with idiotic lyrics (Nizzle my fizzle dawg!)

Drow you ninja. This i have never hated anyone as much as this, Heck i even didnt now i could hate anything this much. And the characters arent even real.

Andrew Ryan when he blew up the submarine with Atlas "family".

The game is not that old but if you dont know this you live in a cave.
