I can't really think of any examples. If I get bored, I play Resident Evil 5 music over Marvel vs. Capcom 3's if I'm playing as Chris, Wesker or Jill, but that's kinda cheating.

Pikmin 2 music in Minecraft, Shadow of the Colossus music in Oblivion and finally Ave Maria (not a video game soundtrack but found IN a Hitman game so I guess that counts) in Crysis 2 multiplayer. No seriously go do that now. Play a stressful shooter like Crysis 2 or Call of Duty but replace the music with Ave Maria (look it up) and the game officially becomes awesome and hilarious as the gunshots, screms and chaos of war juxtaposes beautifully with the most relaxing music ever composed. Its comedy gold.

One of the few albums I have added to my Xbox 360's music library is the Jet Set Radio Future soundtrack. So I listen to The Concept of Love while I venture the wasteland in Fallout 3.

It doesn't work too well, but by god, that soundtrack is fantastic.

Today I was playing Pokemon Black with the Persona 4 soundtrack. It turned out to be very enjoyable. The soundtrack for Persona 4 is nothing short of incredible I am glad I got it with the game disc
