Lost my CnD Rescue Rangers game for the NES.

Got my Power Blade for the NES stolen.

Lost my Super Mario 64 for many years, only to find it again a couple of years back.

Silent Hill 4 on the PS2 and Final Fantasy 6 on the GBA. I was near the end of them both and they disappeared.
May I just say that your avatar seems to fit your situation perfectly? Just sayin is all.
OT:Ive never really lost a game. Unless having my steam account hacked counts. It pissed my off so much when it happened, I couldn't play half life 2.

Yup.
After you've amassed over 600 PC disks like i have, you tend to lose track of some of them.

If you ever move in with a girl who is a gamer, make sure you're very clear on who's games are who's. It will end in tears otherwise. That's all I want to say on the matter.

Sure, though it is mostly down to my brother stealing and pawning them off. He's taken games, wii remotes, I'm surprised he hasn't sold the whole console.

*thinks*

Nope. For a while I thought I lost my original copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon, but I found that again a few months back. The postal service did loose track of my order of the Warcraft 3 Battlechest, but I didn't end up paying for it so that doesn't count.

Hell, I gained more games over the years by accident than I lost them; Unreal 2, Black And White 2 and FEAR. Borrowed them from friends, played them, forgot about them, they did too and when I left high school I never really talked to them again. And now they're on my shelf.

Edit:

I remember now! I've lost my copy of Railroad Tycoon 2. Back then I usually left the disc in my parent's PC as I played it quite a lot. Then it suddenly broke down and dad took it to the repairshop, not knowing there still a disc in it. It came back without it. I was sad that day.

my mum once threw out all my games from p-z(and this includes every the-game), they were all in one box and she thought i didn't want to keep the contents. She was more heartbroken about this than me since i could just download 90% of those through steam.

Well, I once bought a copy of Rainbow Six Vegas that didn't even come with a game inside of it. Besides that, the only games I've ever lost were older gameboy games.

Not sure where my copy of Neverwinter Nights (+ 2 expansions) went.

This is one of the reasons I like digital distribution.

There was a mix up at my local Gamestation on Friday, basically they'd mis-ordered the Balls of Steel Editions of Duke Nukem Forever. They had 5 pre-orders, but only ordered 4 copies.

Being as though I was the first person on there reservation lists, and the first person that to come in asking about the Duke, I made them give me someone elses copy. I'll be damned if I wasn't getting my Balls of Steel edition.
That's alright, apparently the BoS CE is restricted to GameStop and Amazon, and they tagged my pre-order as PC, and I hadn't realized until CE pre-orders were locked down. Meaning that I'm still going to buy my 100 dollar CE copy -- because I'll be damned if I don't buy the Limited Edition of something I've been waiting 13 years for -- and also 60 dollars for the PS3 version, because that's the platform I want to play it on.Bolded due to my knowing that someone's bound to ask why I don't just play it on my laptop and skip buying the PS3 copy entirely.

Shit, one time I broke up with a girl, and lost my games, my playstation, my shoes, my clothes, etc cuz she burned them in a fucking bonfire. Wish she had a sister I could fuck for revenge purposes *sigh*

I still miss those shoes...
Never doubt karma on a good pair of shoes. She'll pay dearly for that one, I'd say.

well...i didn't loose one copy, or two copies, not even five copies

no sir !

I actually managed to loose ALL my N64 games - maybe twenty or thirty- at once, only turok2 stayed in the console..
to be precisly i throw them to garbage by mistake.
We where renovating, there where lots of black bags filled with various things, some disposable.... others ... not

that happened about 10 years ago,but I'm still under shock
Damn man, that is harsh...I think I'm going to cry just thinking about that...

And of all the games you could have kept, the one you still have is turok2? I don't know if it helps but I feel seriously sorry for you.

I was on vacation in Costa Rica with my parents and I brought my DS along, including my brand-new copy of Pokemon Platinum. I had just one last Pokemon to get until I got the National Dex, but I must have left the cartridge on the floor, and it was lost when the room was cleaned. I was so sad.

haha yeah I lend games out to my friends all the time, but sometimes I forget which games I have lent out, and to which friend, gets a bit confusing, and I forget a lot.

Then weeks later I go to play it, and can't remember whether I lent it to a friend, or sold it ages ago :)

I've mysteriously lost many games in my time. But at least when I've gotten around to buying them again, many are far cheaper.

I remember I had some really expensive super collection edition thing of Age of Empires 1 & 2 plus the expansions and soundtrack, back when AoE 2 was relatively newly out still. Was somewhere around $200 at the time I think. I lost it somehow, then only recently bought the complete pack of all those games again for about $15, new.
