Dark Chocolate. Just got em.

The only pie I like is Pumpkin. The only cake I really like is Carrot. The only bread I enjoy is Banana Nut. The only apple I like is red. The only water I like is around 7 pH. The only air I really like breathing contains 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen... maybe 1% argon to spice things up.

Some uh... Taco stew? Is that even a thing? I have no idea how to translate it from Norwegian... It's good anyway! I was just about to dig in =3. I also have an energy drink, the one called Battery. Drinking it makes me feel like the Duracell bunny. Feeling like a bunny makes me feel strange. Everyone knows I'm an equine!

My birthday is around Thanksgiving every year, so instead of birthday cake, I get pumpkin pie.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

The only pie I have ever tasted is Apple Pie which has ranged from good to horrible. But anyway right now I'm not eating anything, I am however drinking a nice cup of tea with some honey for that all good virus killing power.
The only thing I've had to eat today was actually a small cup of skyr. Vanilla Skyr to be exact.

Currently not eating anything.

When I get home is time to gorge on junk food though. Hating this week so much and it's only Tuesday...

I had a 1/3 piece of mooncake hours ago which was an bad idea due to how my mouth is acting up (kind of swollen) and I had KFC for lunch so I was still feeling stuffed.

Define junk food! Are we talking nutella covered twinkies with whipped cream dip, or 4 different kinds of M&M's thrown into chocolate-peanut butter? :D
Depending on how the next three/three and a half hours go (it's already 4:10pm) we may be talking an entire tube of Cour Cream and Chive Pringles.

I am currently stuffing my Panda-face with pie right now. Not just any pie though, it's Pumpkin Pie. I love me some Pumpkin Pie. Really lifts my spirits.

What are you eating at the moment? (Oh yes, I just went there and made a nonsense topic)
Are you going to eat some panda pie later? :>

Currently not eating anyon... I mean, she's nobod... I mean, she's not here. Nothing. That's what I'm eating.

On another note, the definition of pie is not as broad here as in somewhere else, like The US, or The UK.

Blueberry pie is my love.

Now I'm about to cook some delicious chicken sauce for real.

I am currently eating a blueberry muffin. It's nothing to write home about, but it was free, leftovers from a meeting this morning.

I have eaten no pie lately.

I just had a pan seared chicken breast stuffed with split pea risotto over a bed of greens doused with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I love the cafeteria at my job.

I haven't had pie in a while, my favorite is a nice warm slice of pecan pie a la modey.

I have no idea what that is but it looks really good.
Oh, it is.

It's bacon. Get a bit of pork belly/pork flank/side pork (one and the same) that, if thinly or not so thinly cut, would get you bacon strips.

Instead of cutting it in strips, cut it in cubes (or, as in the picture - but only if you have a really large pan). Next, put them all skin side down in the pot, add water. Then add soy sauce, sake, garlic and ginger, as well as cloves and some salt. Bring to boil, skim foam, reduce heat to medium-low and reduce the liquid until it's well sticky and clings to the bacon. Takes about an hour or so.

There are plenty of slightly or quite different recipes out there, as it's a food staple all over Asia. I prefer the (mostly) Japanese variant. Some people prefer to roll it up into rounds and tie them together, which looks like sausage when cut, but I prefer cubes and thin squares.

Once done, some MUST be eaten on the spot, as it's just too good to miss. Most of it goes into a tight-fitting tupperware into the fridge or freezer, and comes out whenever it's Ramen noodle (soup) time. Cut a Chashu cube into thin strips and place neatly on top of noodle soup, let warm through for a bit and enjoy instant spicy melt-in-your-mouth pork flavour exploding into your face.

Should there be any remaining broth, don't consider it waste material - it makes for excellent sauce base and adds splendid taste to any noodles or (fried) rice.

I just finished lunch which consisted of exquisitely delicious fresh, sweet corn-on-the-cob, corn bread muffins with cheese, steak tips and mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Washed down with a Coke. No dessert, though: I'm on a diet--such as it is.

It doesn't get much more Southern Cooking without the battered okra and coleslaw I didn't partake of.

I'm currently not eating, but for dinner I had a baked potato, some salad and a slice of chicken pie. I actually began typing this response and then tried to remember what I had for dinner. When I remembered it was pie, my head literally* exploded.

*I'm serious, my head is gone. I think that I'm dead.
