[Back at that shit little inn.]

The Shadowmaster took the vase from Rick's hands and held it up in the air to examine it.

"You've all done extraordinarily well. Apart from that little slip-up, everything went according to plan. But even that could be used to our advantage. We could create a group identity for you. I have already spread the word about you all. But anyway, I have another assignment. The man who you stole this from is probably not going to be very happy. He would seek to stop us. We should eliminate him. Of course, I could do this myself but I have other things to do. On the full moon, tomorrow night, you shall make a raid on his fort. This time, the guards are expendible. Kill him at all costs and burn the fort. But until then, make yourself comfy. This inn shall be our base; it is small and inconspicuous."

The Shadowmaster teleported out of the inn with the vase, leaving behind a huge chest of gold. Rick opened the chest and held out a coin to the light, it was real.

"Well, rooms are upstairs I'm guessing."

Freya stood up and slammed her fist down on the table.

"This is our base?! This shit*y little inn?!"

She sat back down, crossed her legs and folded her arms.

"You've got to be kidding me. I'm all for the next mission but I cannot be expected to stay in this place."

"I have to agree! This is bullshit! Look at this place!"

Marek walked around the inn, the plates were dirty, the ale was stale.

"This place is a god damn pig sty! Is there nowhere better?!"

"Full Moon? Oh for fuck sake..." I walked upstairs and jumped into a room.

"I can't let these people see me on a full-moon. I'm...vicious enough now."

I lay there for a while. I didn't like this.

After hearing Vexx complain about the full moon, Marek remembered,

"Damn! I forgot about that!! I love a good full moon!" Marek howled, "It'll be a little harder to make you fall for me however. I am a little more, beastly."

"Ok.Ok.Ok. I'll agree with you when you say that this place is a shit hole. But the nearest village is a mile to the south. Also, we are going to need to lay low for now. If they see us, they will report us. Also, I don't give a toss if you don't like the moon. The Shadowmaster tells us what to do and we do it."

"Full moon? Wait, doesn't that make lycans stronger? Well then as long as you don't try and kill me it should be fun to see you at your strongest."

Freya stood and patted Marek on the back and looked at the group.

"I'm gonna go and check how the beds look."

Keldar didn't mind the inn, he was accustomed to living in the wild and could sleep anywhere. Keldar ordered an ale and drank it silently. The mission had gone well in his opinion, and he was looking forward to the next one.

 

[Shapsters]

"You know, I don't really remember this 'Shadmaster' fellow putting you in charge." Marek went face to face, "So tell me Rick, just how did you get to be the leader of this little ragtag group?"

I wasn't keen on Rick's attitude, he hadn't seen me on a full moon. I had...a slightly reaction.

"Fine...well we'll see how it goes." I put my head down and slept.

Rick looked at Marek. Rick was 6"0' but Marek was a hell of a lot taller. Rick drew is knives.

"Oh, I see. You want to take this outside. 'cos if that is so, I'm going to cut off your testicles and feed them to you."

Freya had gone upstairs to see how the beds looked. Her face cringed as soon as she saw them. They were stained, she didn't want to know what the stains were. She covered her mouth. She wasn't used to living in such bleek places. She had been used to sleeping in places full of gold and treasures.

Freya walked back downstairs and sat back down.

"This place is disgusting..." She muttered.

She turned to Rick and Marek.

"Both of you need to calm down or I'll kill the both of you."

 

[StarStruckStrumpets]

I heard the ruccas(?) from down stairs and they wouldn't let me sleep. I walked down the stairs.

"Well Rick, you're talking about keeping a low profile, and then you go and shout your mouth off in a public tavern, in my view, that's not good leadership. Keep quiet, I need rest."

With that I walked back upstairs to my bed.

"I'm not the one trying to start the fight, I was merely asking a question. Marek stayed where he was, "Can you answer my question? Or are you to busy thinking what you are going to do to my testicles?"

"I'm going to be the leader 'cos frankly, I'm the only one here with the sense to see why we are here. I normally settle disputes by killing the other person so stay the hell out of my way. Oh, and Freya. I'd like to see you try....."

Leaving the conversation, Rick walked upstairs and slammed his door. Then he realised his sheets were covered in shit.

Marek looked at Freya

"He's a real hotshot eh?"

Marek gave her a light punch on the should and headed outside, "I'd would rather sleep outside than in shit filled beds. I could make you a real nice tree nest if ya want, its up to you really."

Freya looked at Rick as he walked off.

Lets see you try?? Ugh.. I already dislike him.

She turned to Marek.

"Yeah. His ego is something that I am not too fond of. And as for the tree nest.. Sure. Anything is better than those beds."

Freya followed Marek outside.

Listening to the argument between Rick and Marek, Keldar smirked. It made sense that it a group filled with murderers, people wouldn't exactly get along. "I'm not getting involved" Keldar thought, "But they'd best not try to involve me." Keldar resolved to watch his back, you never knew in groups like these. "The beds really do smell though" Keldar thought. He took a bedroll out of his pack and laid it on the floor. "Not exactly comfortable, but at least I won't have to worry about disease" Keldar thought.

Jorond steps inside, lips bloody, he had just satisfied his thirst for blood for that night. He soon realizes that things appear to be calming down and heads to his room to rest the night.
