Didn't stick with it long enough to see the DLC monsters, but the first round of DLC hunters were heading that way, with several of the DLC ones being multi-role fillers with previously exclusive abilities from other classes.Zydrate said:I'd actually try playing it, then. It'd depend on the P2W elements of any extra monsters, and how long matchmaking is.Worgen said:Going free to play, calling it. Considering how much dlc they had, it would make sense.
Pretty much everything about the marketing and sales of Evolve an be described as weak. Why would the latest announcement be any different? Still, if it's free it might actually be worth picking up and playing again, although it's most fundamental flaw on release was how boring it quickly became,008Zulu said:If you hold your breath for that kind of fairness, you'd pass out and hit your head on the coffee table first
OT; Is a game going f2p really worthy of putting a countdown on the store page? Seems... weak.
At this point, if any of them still care the prospect of having people to pay the game with again would surely outweigh the frustration of them having gotten in for free.Pyrian said:That's got to be annoying to people who paid full price. Maybe they should get some bonus DLC at least?
Blame 2K. And currently they are well underway to kill Battleborn the same way.SirSullymore said:F2P has been confirmed, hopefully it helps the game out. I find Evolve to be such a sad story, there is so much about that game I love, but stupid greedy decisions killed it.
I don't think making it free will fix that.fix-the-spade said:it's most fundamental flaw on release was how boring it quickly became
Hey. I bought Bb day one, and later on got the seasonpass. Though 2K's meddling made me want to take a long break from the game until all SP content is released. Damn shame though, Orendi and Whisky Foxtrot are my favorite characters in that game.SirSullymore said:I know, I like BB too! I guess I just like any class/hero based shooter game. Haha

if its for free, i may give it a try as well. nothing to lose besides some loss of data from the download.
Really? Paid review accusations? What year is this, 2007? Did Kane and Lynch just come out?Zulnam said:Probly because they didn't give him a paid preview deal.Metalrocks said:i know angry joe gave it a poor review.
