Ewoks Will Die in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II DLC

Your disgusting Ewok-murdering fantasies can finally be realized in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.

Ever since Ewoks made their first appearance in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II [http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Trilogy-Harrison-Ford/dp/B001EN71DG/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1290010835&sr=1-1], which will take place on Endor during the events of the movie.

The DLC is a "what if" situation that LucasArts says is part of the "infinite storyline" which imagines what Return of the Jedi would be like if Force Unleashed's StarKiller showed up. It's more of a bonus mission than an extension of the Force Unleashed storyline, similar to what was done with the Hoth bonus mission from the first game.

LucasArts' Gia Corsi told IGN that DLC like this is a "pretty sweet opportunity" to see an alternate take on established Star Wars canon, and confirms: "Yes, there will be battles with Ewoks!" Screenshots show StarKiller haplessly murdering Ewoks with Force lightning as they try to stab him with spears. You would think they'd be smarter than that.

The DLC will also add new achievements, including one called "Sith Kicker." It presumes that players chose the Dark Side simply because LucasArts thought it'd be awesome to throw a "bad ass" Sith down on Endor, and who can't agree with that? The DLC is said to be coming "later this year," but a price hasn't been announced yet.

I will just wait until they release whatever special edition they have planned for the game, which will most likely have this DLC along with a few other included with it. XD

I wish people would get over the Ewoks, especially when there are worse things in the Star Wars universe that are more deserving of a slow painful death. Still interesting DLC though.
What about Jar Jar?

I loved hunting Ewoks in Battlefront 2. This sounds like fun.
I also liked fighting as those abominable snowmen on Hoth.
...

Why don't we have a Battlefront 3 again?

Get Battlefront 2. There's a nice little game mode where you can hunt and kill indigenous creatures of a given planet, or control them and fight the invaders. On Naboo you control the droids as they destroy the Gunguns.

It is glorious.

Interesting DLC. But still...i´m not gonna buy a mediocre game just to toast a few teddy bears with force lightning.

Yeah, you've been able the kill them since battlefront 2, this is nothing new, just more lucas ranch farming money out of the still loyal fans waiting for lucas to drop some good material this decade.

Killing ewoks will be fun, but it should be pointed out you can already kill them in Battlefront and use them as suicide bombers in Empire at War: Forces of Corruption.

Wow, an Ewok Jedi would be awesome. I wonder if Ewoks are Force-sensitive? Has this ever been touched on in the expanded universe?

I don't think they'd be smarter than that. In Return of the Jedi the tried tripping a multi ton, multi-story killer death robot by tripping it. It might not be a case of "being stupid" as simply not having sufficient information available to make a reasonable tactical decision. Since they obviously have only a limited grasp of Newtonian Physics, it is safe to say that they probably aren't aware of the even more complex forces at work with. . . the force I guess?

That's kinda who I was hinting at. As well as that Asoka or whatever her name is girl from Clone Wars.

Duly noted. What systems is it on?
Xbox(Original, but compatible with 360) and PS2.

I never understood all the Ewoks' hate. Maybe it's because I was a kid back them, but I never thought the were annoying. Jar-jar on the other hand... Just let us decapitate Jar-jar already!
