*I have posted this on the "off-topic" forums already, but it's probably a good idea to post it here*

Today, i started my first official exams at school, let it be known that even when it comes to normal tests i get REALLY nervous. i was quite pumped up for it this morning, i had FIVE exams (Yep, five) today.

Anyway, the day started off quite good, but it was around my second exam when things started to go downhill, i felt as if i was having withdrawals, i could barely understand what i was looking at and what i was writing, i still don't know if i actually did good or not.

But the worst was the 4th, i had a headache, a cold, i couldn't understand anything the paper asked me to, i felt such sense of rage and aggression going on to the final one.

Anyway by the time i got back home i had a full-on panic attack, every thought of something that went wrong today rushed to my head, it was the most horrendous experience of my life. My mother was pretty concerned about me to say the least. the worst thing?i still have 5 more tomorrow, and 2 the next day and 2 after that.

Is this normal? i hope i'm not the only one out there.Could i get some tips perhaps? Thanks.

Geez, I've never had five exams in a day. I mean, I usually only take five courses per semester...

But yeah, I understand that feeling of rage when you're burnt out on exam-taking. It's like, when you read a lengthy, badly-written question, you get all "Why the fuck don't I understand this? Who the fuck wrote this question?!"

If I had to go through five tough exams in a day, and had five more the next day, I'd probably be pretty upset too. Though, having a panic attack is a bit much, lol

You should probably celebrate finishing today's exams. Play a bunch of video games or w/e, stuff your face with pizza. Anything as long as you don't sacrifice sleep for the next day. It's what I do after a shitty exam, even if I know I've got another one coming up that I should be doing some last-minute studying for. Gives me something to look forward to after exams, so I can concentrate on thinking about that instead of thinking about the fact that I'm taking an exam.

In my country we have a thing similar to the SATs which are divided up in 5 tests over a time-frame of 8-16. I get head-aches later that day, or the day after. I sort of know where you're coming from.

Take a pill to help with the pain in your head, eat, drink and rest.

I'd strongly advice against playing video-games and watching action-movies or TV-commercials. Save your adrenaline and brain over-loads for the exams.
