It's the time of year when many sit down in empty halls spilling out their brains onto blank peices of paper. Rapid completement of coursework and hasty revision. I'm 16, and about to sit my GCSE's (equivalent to SATs or O levels). I have done next to no revision so far and I'm bricking it. Please share your exam dilemmas, past or present.

EDIT* sorry I posted this in the games section. Was going to start a thread on that instead and forgot to change forums.

I have exams for my first year of university in about 4 weeks time, and I haven't started revising. Plus I missed half my lectures for one module (speaking of which, that's my next lecture now...), so I'm probably going to fail that...

Hmm... well, there was my stressing for the School Certificate [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_Certificate] (even though it was small-fry)... and then there was the incident a few weeks ago, where all the faculties had decided that they want our half-yearly examinations to be on the same week, resulting in 3 half-yearly exams being on the same day (normal school week, mind you)...

Yeh, I reckon I'm boned too.

I just finished my SAT so I am safe from them for now. I still dream that I am in a one man play and don't know any of the lines on occasion though.

Ahaa, Gaming stole my revision time.
When I do my GCSE's
Example Science question:
How do the electrons slow down while passing down the conductor?
You have a Main tank, 2 off tanks for the aggro and a few healers to keep them alive.
and the DPS to get rid of any adds
Also, I know I will do shit, Mainly because I do not like the education system in the UK and so I'm hardly ever in school.
But I know most of the stuff they are meant to teach us, because I have been going to the same school for 5 years now (12 years if you count the same primary and nursery (And yes I'm bored as hell there)) and probably learned what I need to learn 3 to 4 times now

Honestly, with exams like the SAT's (Sorry, I'm American) I tend to fine it best if you just be calm and take the stupid thing. I took an exam to register me as a radiology technologist (I can legally take x-rays) in America and the few days before I took it, I was piss-eating scared. But I just went with it, knowing how well I did in class and sure enough, I passed with flying colors. Be calm and trust yourself.

That's a GCSE question?! It took until degree level before I was learning about phonons and lattice vibrations...

And on topic, I have exams that count for 50% of my degree in 6 weeks. Must... stop... procrastinating...

Well, It will be on the test seeing as I'm in the lowest class because of my 'Appalling' attendance, So I get easy questions.
Even all of my teachers said I'm too smart to be in a delinquent class, but hey I find it fun, I can scrap by with the bare minimum and Focus on my dream ^_^ Psychology ;D
