When I read that title I had this overwhelming impression of an epic tale involving the use of Microsoft Office spreadsheet programs. =)
Yep, I've seen it from beginning to end. One word of warning... watch it subtitled, the English dubb is easily one worst I've ever seen. The English voice actresses doing Excel's voice makes me want to climb a clock tower (I say actresses because the original actress wasn't able to do all the episodes the voice was so hard on her.)
It is weird, very weird. It tends to parody various anime genres one per episode, but with the tenuous link forming an overarching storyline.
A final warning, if you are easily offended do NOT watch the last episode. It's called "Excel goes too far" and it lives up to the name.

An anime that makes fun of anime and goes absolutly nowhere. Yeah, it was pretty fun. That Excel chick drove me insane though, with her rate of speech.PsychoKez said:

Yes, I've watched it. And except for the last episode, I enjoyed it. It was delightfully strange, and even the one drama episode was surprisingly good. It's also the source of the "put it in" meme, which is a plus.
Note: the anime and the manga are extremely different. Like "beyond Full Metal Alchemist" different.
