I've been to quite a few gigs in my time, and I've just been thinking about bands that I hadn't heard of, then seen them and instantly loved them more than a porn star smothered in apple sauce.

For example, when I went to see Airbourne, Black Spiders were supporting.

A serious case of wickedness, and also one of the scariest looking drummers I've ever seen.

So, any bands you've got hooked on from going to gigs?

I've heard of Black Spiders. They're supporting loads of people this year.
For bands I've never heard of and loved, I saw Magnacult [http://www.myspace.com/magnacult] supporting Sonata Arctica, who were amazing - Delain [http://www.myspace.com/delainmusic] were also there, but I really had a problem with them live, though their studio stuff is good. Same story with Rise to Remain [http://www.myspace.com/risetoremain] supporting Five Finger Death Punch and Bleeding Through [http://www.myspace.com/bleedingthrough] supporting Machine Head, I love those guys now.

In Flames, saw them supporting Slipknot in 2002 and got hooked.

The Enemy were good too, saw them supporting Manic Street Preachers a couple of years back and they got rather succesful after that (all because of me.)

Blood Red Shoes is a good shout.

I thought you were talking about the bands that solo artists use.

Erm...I haven't been to many concerts.
