more exclusive titles, if there was none what would be the difference between me buying a 360 and me wasting money on buying a monolith [tons-o-cookies for those that get it] and even if there was no exclusive titles, people would still say "[console] is better because of the hardware!" plus some games dont deserve to be on multiple consoles [animal crossing, billy hatcher, stormrise.......]

The monolith reference? Since Yahtzee (along with dozens of other satirists, journalists, and douches) called the PS3 a monolith due to it's hulking appearance? If you're going to be giving out cookies, you'd better make the reference more vague.

Anyway, I don't like exclusives very much. They just seem unnecessary and...stupid. I would love to be able to play some exclusive 360 game that I'm interested in (Help! I can't find one! >) right after a session of inFamous, but I don't see that happening.

It's unfortunate really.

I hate that word. It annoys me to death and if I could I would throw a baseball at it.

Let me elaborate. I think the main reason for the console war in Exclusive titles. A big sequal comes out that only the PS3 owners will be able to play. This of course makes the fans of the series that are on the 360 side of the battlefield angry and the flamewars begin.

And we all HATE flamewars right?

Imagine there's no flame wars. It isn't hard to do. No PS3 guy yelling. Above us no 360 kid.

Back to the point. So I hate exclusive titles. But don't they contribute to the balance of it all. If they were to be no exclusive titles it would all come down to the machine itslef.
And everything would become pretty unbalanced.

There are plenty of PC exclusive games that are PC exclusive for the reason that they wouldn't work on the consoles.
