At present I have a 160GB hard drive for my PS3 (originally the 60GB with a new HDD). However I basically use my PS3 to store everything so I'm going to need to upgrade again quite soon.
Instead of going through backing up saves and all my music/vids/pictures and replacing the internal HDD again, can I attach an external HDD and basically add the extra memory on.
Im assuming this will work with music/vids/pics but what about game saves and downloaded games off PSN? Can I download new stuff to the external HDD?
P.S I have tried to google this but some of the tech went a bit over my head, I need a simplified version from someone who knows whats what
