Yeah, I came across this somewhat randomly... and I'm at a loss to explain. Growth chemicals would only really crack them, and they can't account for the 'organic' watermelons exploding, so...

Sigh. Hasn't China heard of the phrase "Organic Produce." I think this is a compelling argument for it.

If you don't go Organic your fruit will explode!

EDIT : The watermelons which claimed to be organic probably weren't truly organic. The ground was so polluted with chemicals used in the past that they were still taking in dodgy growth chemicals anyway....
