remember back in 8 bit days you'd hit the punch button and 4 pixels would appear in front of your little avatar. that was punching, pixels placed in front of your little dude that proved hazardous to enemies they hit. that was quite some time ago, and yet there are still games with stale flat jumps, block punches, and all around more motion.
