And within 1 second of seeing that video I can picture the lawyer for EC going all pale and shitting bricks. Escapist still owns the IP so I'm pretty sure they just gained a huge tactical advantage. This will look bad for EC both legally and morally I fear. For the record I dont support either side as I just dont care. I come here for the community, ZP and Sterling. So whatever happens I just wanted it sorted so I can go back to my goddamn news and videos!

I thought they'd transferred the IP to James. That's what the response letter from the Escapist lead us to believe anyway.

This is the best episode they have had in ages. In the old youtube videos and the first few Escapist vids, they weren't preachy or pretentious in the slightest. I stopped watching after a while because it got so ridiculously preachy, but watching this episode, they're back to doing what they did best: thoughtful, interesting commentary based around a solid idea. Leaving The Escapist may be the best move they've ever made, and I encourage everyone to go out and watch the new video, especially if you didn't like what they were doing here.
