Extra Credits now with Penny Arcade?

So I was chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool while I was checking out my bookmarked webcomics, when I happened across <a href=http://penny-arcade.com/patv>THIS. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised!

Looks like James, Daniel and Allison have landed with Gabe and Tycho, who I doubt will have any trouble paying them for the show. I personally wish them the best of luck, and I'm thrilled that they've found such a high-profile employer!

Thoughts? Reactions?

I wouldn't have cared if they were on youtube still. As long as i know where i can watch their show and be informed on the various aspects of the gaming world as they present it i'd still watch. I always feel a little more educated about this industry when i'm done watching one of their episodes.

You know I saw something advertising Extra Credits on the Penny Arcade page the other day, but just thought they were appearing at PAX for some reason. But to find that they have joined Penny Arcade as an official part of the site seems interesting to say the least. Hopefully this works out. Pretty confident that Gabe and Tycho will treat them well.

This is great. Im a fan of Penny Arcade anyway, and a huge fan of their little standoff with Jack "My crusade is constitutionally protected based on it being religiosly based but your artform isnt first ammendment based because i say so and i really need a shorter and more grammarical nickname" Thompson. Seriously I have the immage of that check on my list of things to view when I get sad.

(Side note: I really hate Jack Thompson)

Good for EC. They will do well on P.A. and its nice that their Escapist Episodes(Apparenly those are season 2) are coming along for the ride.

Edit:Turns out a couple of other P.A. shows used to be here too, so now I just have one question.

What does the Escapist do once Movie Bob and/or Yahtzee transfers?

It's off the list because they don't have the rights to the videos anymore.

And they won't ban anyone. It's just talking about EC is a bit redundant at this point.

I was never really a fan of penny arcade but I'm happy that the EC guys found a new home... the only downside is the stupid blip.tv has the most annoying ads of any site. well maybe not as bad as the Slim Jim ads here but still pretty bad.

They aren't going to ban anyone for this. The most they could do is lock the thread, but that wouldn't achieve anything.
