As anyone knows who is both gay and lives anywhere in north america, one of the biggest Pride weekend celebrations in the world is going on in my city this weekend. This pretty much requires me to fork over upwards of $300 to the various beer companies/water vendors/stupid clubs that i will have no choice but to frequent this weekend. I could just say fuck it and not go, but this weekend invariably means forty out of town friends drinking and passing out on every square inch of my floor space for three days and wishing everyone a drunken "Happy Pride!" every five seconds. So i better just get happy about right now i guess. (note the obvious hatred of the situation)
