I'd say this guy should Dedicate his time to something else....Like Girls. Or maybe An instrument. But aside from that not to amazing. It doesn't impress me when someone plays games so much they know exactly whats gonna happen. Like the 11 min beating mario 3.

Who says those two items are of more worth than his pursuit here? One that is more unique than being good at an instrument for example. Basically you're saying it is better to conform and merge with the grey.

And someone who states: "Get a girl" is just showing their own immaturity, anyone who's had a couple of long term relationships will realise that it isn't the be all, end all.

Also to answer the OP's question on why people become so good at games, here's my personal opinion.

"I believe that people become good at games, the same way they become good at anything else they try and that is, practice and lots of it".

On another note:

"No I can't say I have ever met someone that extreme, I do know some excellent players, but not someone who can play like that".

True But those who dedicate themselves to instruments Rise above the Grey. And i mean good none of this Crap thats come out in the last like 10 years lol. Joe Satriani being an Example. Plus Girls is just the Regular response i give when someone shows how much they have dedicated to Video Games lol.

Didn't you hear that audience? There were plenty of girls in that audience, and girls like a good dancer. He wasn't just flailing his feet around like a twat, he was dancing. On cue. On the right step-pedal-things.

That's damn impressive. He will get chicks. He will get more than most people that get taht good at a FPS will ever see.
