Yesterday I got a football in the face during PE with glasses on. Ever since my right eye (the one that got hit) is doing weird. It twitches and it feels like there's air bubbles coming out of it. Anybody know what the heck is going on?

it's swollen. your sinuses are actually connected to your eyes. have you ever seen the people that can squirt milk (or really any liquid) out of their eye? They do it by forcing pressure up through their sinuses, past their nose, and out their eye. If you plug your nose, close your mouth, and try to exhale really hard, you can blow air out your eye. I'd imagine that your eye being swollen could cause some pressure issues within your sinuses, and cause air to come out around the edges.

However, it never hurts (except in the monetary way) to go see a doctor about it. Especially with eyes. And especially with the twitchy thing.

Nnnnkay... I'm not particularly good with things like this, but need to know a couple things.

1: Do you eyes still move/coordinate together?
2: Does it hurt when you blink? If so, does it hurt your eyelid more or your eye?
3: Where abouts in the eye-socket do you get this 'air-bubble' sensation?
4: What's twitching? The muscle beneath the eye, the eyelid or your iris?

You probably have a little minor nerve damage/busing from the glasses pressing into the eye socket when you were hit up side the bonce. I wouldn't worry about it too much if i were you. however saying that, if the twitching doesn't stop in the next 2 to 3 days then i would advise you to go see a doctor just in case it's a little more serious. Like i said though i wouldn't worry too much, you'll be OK.

See a doctor!! That could a serious problem, if left untreated you might lose vision in that eye. I know this because a friend of mine had that had to them, they are now partially blind in that eye.

See a doctor as soon as possible!!!
