Is that photoshop or dope?
It's David Bowie...One of his pupils is permanently dilated. Probably Photoshopped as well though.
How ridiculous is it that I didn't recognize David Bowie right off the bat?

But clearly a touch of photoshop ;-)
only some diffuse glow i think, it's a few years old (don't have the piercing anymore) but no color enhancements.

Eyes aren't the first thing I notice, but it's definitely a plus to have nice eyes! I get complimented on my eyes a lot but I'm adamant that they're too small.

Me and a large majority of people in my family have greyish-blue eyes and a golden ring around the pupil. In other words, central heterochromia. :]

the glasses are a permanent feature:

and I love eyes, it's very easy to get lost in a pretty pair, the more striking the colour the better.

My eyes have a hexagon pattern in them. a green swirling... green, and on that is a brown hexagon pattern. I would pic but I don't have a high enough res camera to do so.

I kind of have a problem where I look everyone in the eye.

I don't mean just normally talking to people, I mean walking down the street, complete strangers on the trains, police and officials, hobos... anyone I happen to be looking in the general direction of.

Tends to lead to some awkward situations, but I do see an awful lot of eyes. You know most people walk down the street completely unfocused on the world? Weirdly they always have more focus and activity when they're sitting down.

But yeah. I love eyes. Eyes are the first thing I look at on a person, and as terrible as it is to say, I form a lot of opinions about them just from the eyes.

"The portal to the soul. The teller of all truths. The windows to emotions."

Guess what OP, none of those things are true. Eyes don't tell you anything about a person AT ALL.

I have some red scarring on my left eye, I think it sort of freaks people out. I'm not really sure how to post my pictures here other than photobucket or something and I don't really feel like doing that anyways. My eyes are light brown btw.

Good thing you read all my post.

Otherwise, you might have seen me say, at least twice, that when people say those things, they're talking about the eye, the eye socket, and the brow. They say eyes for short.

So, yeah, thank God you read everything. Wouldn't you look silly otherwise?

Can I convince you? Sounds interesting. I'd like to see that.

I really like looking closely at peoples eyes. My girlfriend has beautiful eyes. They're just brown but they seem to glow.

As for mine:

I wouldn't expect people to respond to your thread reading the entirety of it. I read ALL of your first post. You didn't specify what you meant by "eye" in your first post.

"When people refer to the eyes as 'windows to the soul,' they're usually referring to the eye, the eye socket, and the brow."

Since when?

Other peoples eyes I tend to like in all honesty. Not such a big fan of my own though seeing as how I need glasses to see through them properly

Eh, dark blue. It's hard to find a perfectly color balanced image, but this is the closest I could get.

People enjoy telling me that I look tired.

I don't have a particular appreciation for eyes. They're OK, but all those poetic devices used to describe them kind of fall flat for me.

I do kind of like my own eyes when I've stared into a mirror to see them. They're a sort of army green colour; not quite hazel though, I don't think. Anyway, they look like some sort of landscape, with grassy knolls, hills and rocky crags. Very earthy.
