I could be your friend. I just need you to step inside of this van right over here. Don't worry, there's candy inside. :3
NOT ON MY FUCKING WATCH! Activate special Calumon protection ally Number 4!

Totally worth it.

Calumon: That was AWESOME! Do it again! Do it again! :D

Define Irony, I dare you.
Why ask him when we can do it musically!

[Insert Bender Here]
That's only one definition of irony.

For example, if you waited weeks for a game you wanted to come back in stock in your local game shop, gave up and drove for hours to the nearest city to buy it there. Then ,once you got back, you found that your local shop had, in fact, got some new stock in the very day you left.

Then that would be a situation that could accurately be referred to as ironic.

That said AceAngel still completely failed to use the word "ironically" correct.

But wouldn't that be Morissette Irony?

Is this really what we're coming down to though? We have to pick jokes from a specific person in a specific show? Why don't I make a "Best Maurice Moss (IT Crowd) jokes" thread?
Too many. Something like "Message for me!" or "I came here to do two things; drink milk, and kick arse. And I've just finished my milk"...or when he realises that Jen is on her period in the first series "urgh...no....nahh...no...ahh....eww...no...aghh..."

OT:
Again, too many.
Though I do always chuckle at "but I didn't get to shake my belly like a bowl full of jelly!"

Aye. Another example of irony is someone spelling something wrong whilst correcting someone who spelled something wrong (this happens frequently on forums).

One of my favourite Chandler lines is where Joey is ranting about that actress he falls in love with, saying she thinks she is "the best actress since... since sliced bread."

Chandler then chips in with "Ah, Sliced Bread. A wonderful Lady Macbeth."

(to Joey)What kind of scary ass clowns came to your birthday?
This.

Or one that I can remember: "I'm not very good at giving advice. You want advice, go to Ross. Go to Monica. Go to Joey if what you want is advice about pizza toppings or a burning sensation when you pee."

"I'm not good with advice, can I interest you with a sarcastic comment?" - perfect to use in daily life, IMO.

Also, "you gotta stop the Q-tip when there's resistance!"

Another person who doesn't know the definition of irony.
Um, if you guys recall the show, almost all of Chandlers jokes were meant to sound 'lame' in the context of the show.

Whenever he'd make a joke, people would either frown or stare at him, as if to say 'Hey, this is the dude that makes jokes for no reason other then trying too hard'. Anyone recalls how certain girlfriends of his would laugh at his jokes under force, make him feel better?

However, funnily enough, whenever Ross would make a joke, it meant to be actually funny (Ross: Ross likes guys, haha) which however you took, might make you smirk, but wasn't actually funny. Same goes for all the other characters.

Joey particularly is guilty of this is many of the episodes. They tried giving him the Italian-ignorant background of immigrant American with the line (Joey: Ma-va'fa-napoli) under the saying of (Va'fan'culo - Fuck yourself). However, this wasn't funny at all, since he didn't say it correctly (EI: in the right setting) nor under an appropriate conversation (he just spouted in randomly).

Same goes for Phoebe, her entire joke of stealing shoes and hearing them speak (Phoebe: Not, not mine, not not, mine) was also not as funny, even with the entire 'hippy goodie two shoes' attitude, that joke kinda blew off in the wrong direction.

So yeah, I still stand by what I said. Every character got a line that in the context of the show was meant to be funny, yet the lame puns Chandler pulled out were much more funnier. Fricken, as lame was it was, is still miles ahead better then what Rachel could pull out.

Honestly people, if you're going to berate someone, AT-LEAST-TRY to understand where they're coming from.

Same here. In the earlier seasons at least.

Luckily in the later seasons everyone was insufferable so I had no reason to watch it. :D

Ross: But I don't want to be single. I just want to be married!
*Rachel walks in, in her wedding dress*
Chandler: And I just want a million dollars...

(To Joey when he raises the idea of hitting a woman whom they thought was a stalker with a frying pan) "Yes, hitting her with a frying pan is a good idea. We might want to have a back-up plan though, just in case she isn't a cartoon!"

Always a good idea to have a backup plan.

Too many to choose from so I will go with the first thing to come to my head. Paraphrasing imminent.

Joey: Let's play a game, let's see who can bring home the hottest chick.
Chandler: We already play that game, it's called life.

Monica: "Shut up! The camera adds 10 more pounds."

Chandler: "Ah so how many cameras are actually on you?"

That's one of many which i got a good chuckle from. He is deffinately my favourite character in the show.

EDIT: One more..

Chandler: "Alright, check out this bad boy; 12Mb of ram, 500Mb hard drive with built in spreadsheet capabilities and a modem that transtmits at over 28000bps."

Phoebe: "Wow, what are you gonna use it for?"

Chandler: "...Games and stuff."

Almost, the key difference is that my example was actually ironic, where-as essentially everything in her song was an attempt at describing an ironic situation, but failing.

For example, rain on your wedding day is not ironic. It's bad luck, but nothing that couldn't be expected to happen.
Now, if you'd specifically gone to Spain, or another hot country, for your wedding and then it had rained in that country but not back home, that would be ironic.
