Fable 2 and the Crucible

I'm just a bit curious about what I've just done. In my first go through the Crucible (this is before the Spire quest), I spent an uncomfortable amount of time trying to get perfect rounds, and I did. However, in the end,

I didn't get the Chopper.

Is this normal, or have I been ripped off? I don't have to wait until after the Spire quest. do I?

Did you get the 'redo the crucible' quest or whatnot? If not, then sorry. If so, then your game's glitched.

The chopper is garbage anyway, get a double augmentable master's katana, add a ghoul and a lucky charm and a master clockwork pistol, you'll win game

In a guide I read, I think it said that I'd have to complete the Spire quest if I wish to replay the Crucible. Would there happen to be any truth to that?

I suppose it's nice to know that the Chopper isn't particularly noteworthy. I just wanted it because it was a legendary weapon, which is a class of weapon I've yet to receive.

If you want something noteworthy, then

Complete The Spire, then to go Brightwood Tower. Around halfway up, you are able to jump off the edge and into a tunnel. Complete that, and you get the Dai-Chi. It is a Katana with massive damage, and is the best weapon in the game.

dedicate more time to the shooting range in the town the crucible is in, you can get an amazing gun from it if you get a high score.

Nope, I thought so aswell, but you only need to complete the spire.
