Ok, last night I go to play Fable 2 offline, but all but one of the files were 'corrupted'. So I hook the whole thing to X-Box Live to play and I was able to play all of five minutes of one file before it froze. I restarted the system and tried to play that file again but I was only able to play five seconds or so before it froze. I kept trying to play that file but the same thing kept happening. After the seventh or so time, it told me that the DLC wasn't working right or something along the lines of that.

So I redownloaded the DLCs and tried to play again, but it told me that the game's storage device wasn't there. The hard drive has been there the entire time, and I wouldn't have been able to do all that unless it was there, but I try pushing it in more. I reset the game again, try playing the file and it tells me the same thing. I make the 360 stand upright, retry and it still tells me the same thing about the DLC not being downloaded right and the save file needing to be there.

I give up after several more tries and go see if I get the same problems w/ another file. The other file plays just fine as well as the DLC.

So what the hell is wrong and how do I fix it?

Well it's possible all your files are corrupted and you'll just need to start a new game. Same thing happened to me with Baten Kaitos, which can get to be over 100 hours if you thoroughly play it for those who didn't know. I nearly cried.

Also was the file that you played without problems the file that wasn't corrupted, because if it was it's probably a problem with your files and you'll just need to delete the corrupted ones.

But all the files showed up once I hooked up to XBL. It's just the one (that I know of) that's not letting me play (which go figure, is the one I'm trying to beat).

It's just a corrupted file it's happened to me on Fable 2 as well, your just going to have to delete that save file and start again.

I've had corrupted files show up before, but they turned out fine once I bought the DLC again. (also, I'm not sure how to delete files.)

You can delete it from going to the the memory bit on the dashboard then into Save files or whatever it's called. Make sure you delete the right one, i have deleted a wrong save file once and man i was pissed >.>
