Hmm, the release date it has for the game must be for the Platinum Hits edition because I got my 360 Elite package that included Fable 2, way before September of 2009.

eh oh well, i bought fable 2 at launch just wanted to see if i could get it free anyway.

It turns out it was a mistake on Microsoft's part. It was only free for a couple hours at the most, totally by accident.

It's back to being twenty bucks again, unfortunately.
